We are seeking a highly motivated R&D Engineer to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Embedded code generation in C, C++ / C# and assembler languages
- Generation of software architecture and communication protocols on a variety of microprocessors and microcontrollers. CANOpen / J1939, I2C, RS232
- RTOS experience and understanding of the constraints and requirements of complex real time systems is essential
- Automotive product qualification
- Collect project requirements and generate specifications
- Project management
- Use of version control systems (Subversion)
- Testing of prototypes
- Generate supporting documentation
Qualifications
- Degree level qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or HNC/HND with appropriate experience.
- Embedded code generation C, RTOS (Preferably Freescale MQX), VCS (SVN/CVS)
- Serial Communications, preferably CAN Bus and a variety of debug and development environment
- Working knowledge of mathematical modelling software (such as Matlab or Simulink)
- Must be willing to occasionally work off site and overseas
