Calibration Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Calibration Engineer to join DTS (Diversified Technical Systems). 

DTS specializes in miniature DAQ and portable data logger solutions for a variety of applications including product development, performance validation and safety testing. Engineered for extreme test environments, DTS compact data logger and sensors are rugged and reliable.

Responsibilities
  • Perform in-house and on-site calibration of DTS data acquisition systems and sensors using DTS-developed test equipment and software as well as other laboratory electronic test equipment
  • Provide phone, email and on-site technical support and product training to DTS customers
  • Assist customers with installation and integration of data acquisition systems
  • Work with Engineering in support of product development, software testing and hardware troubleshooting activities.

Qualifications
  • Technical degree in electronics/engineering (or equivalent training)
  • Basic knowledge of analog and digital circuits, be able to master the use of test equipment, and have a strong aptitude to learn about sensors and instrumentation practices.
  • Proficient with MS Windows PCs and Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel, and must also master several DTS software products essential to doing the job. Previous knowledge of sensors, data acquisition principles, electronics troubleshooting, and ATD integration experience are big pluses.
  • Experience in Automotive Test and Measurement is valuable.
  • Functional verbal and written German and English skills are required
